2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Name, email address, phone number, and company name when you register, purchase a service, or contact us
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers)
• Business data you upload to the platform, including job records, customer information, pricing history, and equipment details
• Communications you send to us via email, chat, or phone

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type, operating system, and device information
• IP address and approximate location
• Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation patterns
• Referral source (how you found our website)

Information collected by the RepairStack mobile app: The app is used by a shop's own staff and technicians. It collects only what the shop's work needs:

• Location: if your shop turns on location capture and you accept its notice, the app reads your phone's precise location once, at the moment you clock in or out, start travel, arrive at or finish a job. It never tracks your location in the background and does not keep it on the phone.
• Camera, photos, video and microphone: only when you take or attach a photo, video, voice note or file to a job or a message.
• Notifications: a push token and your device's name, so your shop's messages and job updates reach your phone.
• App diagnostics: crash reports, the reason a sign-in failed, and one record each time the app starts (app version, platform and a random install identifier).
• Work time: the clock, travel and on-site times you record.

All of it goes only to your shop's RepairStack account. The app shows no advertising, does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Your shop creates your account; to have your data deleted, ask your shop or contact info@repairstack.ai.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the RepairStack platform
• Process payments and deliver purchased services
• Train AI models specific to your account (we never use your data for other customers)
• Send service-related communications (confirmations, updates, support)
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Analyze website usage to improve our marketing and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.2+)
• Encrypted data at rest
• Each customer's data kept separate from every other customer's by access rules enforced in the database
• Regular security audits and monitoring
• Access controls and authentication requirements
• Automated backups with encrypted storage

5. Payment Processing

We use Stripe as our payment processor. When you make a payment, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe's secure servers. We do not store, process, or have access to your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We use trusted third-party services (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements

We never share your business data with other RepairStack customers. We never use your data to train AI models for other customers.

RepairStack is a business-to-business service and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
